Questionnaire 2

I constructed another questionnaire to find out more general information about the target audience wants and needs. To make it fair i asked the same people from the first questionnaire. Through doing this i can see the types of activities the target audience is active in.
The first question i asked was what hobbies they take part in outside of school. The most popular seemed to be the music and then sports and socializing also became popular. From finding out their main hobbies i can adapt parts of my magazines to relate to them. For example i can relate articles to hobbies and the target audience directly.

The next important question i asked was what other magazine do they read. This i a very important question because it identifies what type of reader they are and what types of articles they are use to reading. I can then adapt my magazine for the readers needs. From the responses Vogue was the most popular but also Okay is popular as well. These show the types of styles and articles some readers enjoy reading.

I then asked some more short questions to the reader about their interests. These were about losing weight and also if they enjoy like hearing about celebrity news. Most people voted yes for both answers because people like to hear about celebrities lives and some even use them as role models. The other shorter question i asked was if they look for fashion updates like if new clothes are in fashion. The reponses to this was very positive as most people voted for yes, this is because most people care about their appearance these days.

The final question i asked was what shop they normally shop in because from this you can tell what type of person they are and what they look for. The most popular answer being Topshop followed by Miss Selfridge. I myself can relate to these as I shop at both these shops.

From this i can tell alot about my readers about their general daily lives. I have learnt about their interest and what types of articles they are use to reading. I can now adapt my magazine to fit the typical reader of an aged 16-18 sixth former.
